EFDAs (Expanded Function Dental Assistants)

Jeanne is one of our Expanded Function Dental Assistants (EFDA) and primarily serves in our Jennersville office. She has been in dentistry for the past 15 years, with the last twelve being with us here at EFD. She states this of working at EFD: “we are like a family and I love meeting and working with new patients, plus we have the best and nicest bosses!” Being an EFDA, she enjoys placing fillings but also specifically enjoys assisting implants with the doctors. Jeanne is a professed animal lover and is a pet mama to 5 animals. She also has a love for the beach, deep sea fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming.

Debbie is one of our EFDA’s serving primarily in Jennersville. She was recruited into dentistry by Dr. Joe Sr. 15 years ago and has been a valuable member of our team ever since. She has a love for restoring front teeth with composite bonding. Debbie enjoys working for Eckman Family Dentistry because “it is a family-oriented practice that puts family first.” Along with her role as an EFDA here, Debbie also serves at home as a hardworking mother and grandmother. In her down time, she enjoys spending time relaxing with her family, dabbling in photography, and watching her Dallas Cowboys on Sundays.

Stacy is another Eckman Family Dentistry lifer, spending all 16 of her dental years at EFD. She is an EFDA who serves primarily in our Jennersville office and is always up for a great conversation! Stacy enjoys working at EFD because of “the people she works with, and her boss is awesome!” She has a passion for any type of cosmetic dentistry whether it be veneers, crowns, or bonding and loves the artsy side of dentistry. Married with 4 boys and 3 dogs, she keeps busy in spare time by gardening and painting along with pursing her passion of health and wellness.

Cecilia is another one of our Eckman Family EFDA’s and is currently pursuing her degree in dental hygiene while she works with us. She has been in dentistry for 14 years with all 14 of them being here at EFD. She started as a dental assistant with Dr. Joe Sr. and soon after earned her EFDA license. Her favorite dental procedure is placing composite fillings, and she enjoys working at EFD because it is “fun and family-oriented”. Married with 2 kids, Junior and Juliana, Cecilia enjoys spending most of her time outside the office doing family activities.
